This 60-minute version of William Gibson's acclaimed drama is a one woman show starring Katrina Ploof. GOLDA'S BALCONY follows the life of Golda Meir from Russian immigrant to American schoolteacher to the epicenter of international politics as the fourth Prime Minister of Israel. The play pits Meir against Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger with the possible launch of nuclear weapons against her enemies, unless the U. S. comes to her country's aid.
Golda's balcony overlooks Israel's underground nuclear arms facility. From this bunker, Meir's thoughts range from deeply funny to deeply relevant in a spell binding performance.
